this past week.. ive been having dinner with a lot of ppl i havent seen for a very long time.. and the same questions constantly pop up... wat school do you go to? answer: FIT... whats your major? answer: Interior Design... what is interior design? answer: i design interiors... then ppl stare at me... and everyone now is bugging me to see my work... and i guess i have caved into this peer pressure.. i think my work is average compared to other ID students.. but i hope you all enjoy my projects and my portfolio pics

Semester 1 Final Project
I have to design a hat factory turning into an apartment which means large space.  I decided that my client collected modern art and loved surrealism.... just a little info

Concept board.. dali paintings... ghostly fading pictures in the background... baby holding kite over ny skyline.. (client is a kite designer).. the print out costed 45 bucks.. but i think it turned out rather professionally and nice...

for some reason i cant take straight pictures... color concept board... suppose to represent the colors used in design and also represent your design theme.. i came up with this idea from a dali portrait in the middle of a sat night.. it became my obcession  for 9 hrs straight..till sunday morning where i went off to work... i wont tell you how i did this.. enjoy trying to figure it out.. didnt come out that great

Floor plan.. water color.. i hate watercolor... bedroom.. everything floated in air with a circle theme.. but never really had enough time to finish fully designing this plan

Semester 2 Project 1
i really hated this project... i was not in the mood to go back to school yet.. and had 3 weeks to do this project.. its a table arrangement.. i sketched several designs.. and my teacher said... you look like the kind that would take risks... and last semester my professor had many restrictions.. so i had endless imagination.. i decided to do a table arrangement on music.. i designed some with broken guitars.. a jimi hendrix rising sun ... it got more and more wild.. three days till its due.. i still had no idea.. and i realize.. i hate tables... so i came up with the idea of using drums as a table.. i called my teacher at 11 at night.. and he said.. 3 days left... go with it.. and i did... so the table is actually a collection of drums.. where objects can be placed on top... every1 loved my idea.. cause its not really a table... but the rendering didnt come out as strong as i wanted....

the top is a black and white collage for a light study.. bottom is a color study.. i lvoe my color studies...

watercolor rendering.. it came out too light.. didnt pop as much.. back ground is a grafitti art meant to look like cbgb... you can see the drums with objects on it... flower wallpaper was suppose to make a interesting contrast... but again... the rendering didnt work out.. i love the guitars on the right... lol... who would ever want this in there foyer?? i so would..

Semester 2 Project 2
This project was the hardest project for me yet.... lack of time...too much things to design.. two apts made into one.. client has a collection.. my random collection was vinyl album covers... i was going to tile floors with album covers .. but felt it was a mistreatment to a collection.. the walls would be tiled  with the covers.. but i found it immature... i found an artist... dave muerel who made artwork by putting on albums on its side.. letting ppl see the title.. i fell in love with the idea.. and i ran with it.. i let the collection speak for itself.. the circular sofa.. pod chair made the design very rock and roll.. flaws: office door too small.. shouldve made sliding... didnt fully reflect the idea of album covers... i enjoyed decorating my boards with album covers

this came out so nice... very 60's and rock and roll.. marker and color pencil.. very small.. but i hope you can read the plan....

marker and color pencill... this rendering again is not very strong.. forgot to add shadows... love my simple materials.. the circle sofa looks weird but the color works... again very rock and roll.... this project was far more stressful than it seemed.. rendering was rushed.. but i was nervous with using marker for first time..i fell in love with marker.. i will redo this rendering wen i have time

Semester 3 Final Project
Japanese real estate office.. my favorite of all the projects...my teacher collected mine.. yay...

so i hope you enjoyed my work.. i hope its not that bad.. well mon.. starts 3rd semester.. sigh where has this summer gone.. anyway .. ttyl peace in the middle east
